Public transport: Buses
Wigan Community Transport is easy to get to by bus. The number 628 runs from Wigan Bus Station to Kitt Green every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes and every hour in the evening. The bus runs along on Scot Lane close to the office. Get off the bus shortly after you pass the retail park entrance on the right. Ask the driver if you are unsure.

Public transport: Trains
Local Trains
Wigan Wallgate is served by 5 trains an hour from Manchester (Monday to Saturday daytime). Most trains go from Manchester Victoria station, but there is also one train an hour from Manchester Piccadilly.
You can catch a direct train to Wigan Wallgate from the following local stations:
Bolton, Salford Crescent, Southport, Ince, Hindley, Hag Fold, Orrell, Pemberton, Appley Bridge, Gathurst and Atherton.
It is 30 minutes walk from the station (see the walking section for a route plan) or about 10 minutes bike ride. You can take your bike for free on the train.
Wigan North Western is directly opposite Wigan Wallgate Station and is served by trains from Liverpool, St Helens and Bryn every 30 minutes.

Long Distance Trains
Wigan North Western is also served by hourly services to London and Birmingham. It takes under 2 hours to get to Wigan by train from London and 1 hour 20 minutes from Birmingham. You can catch a direct train to Wigan North Western from Wolverhampton, Crewe, Warrington, Preston, Lancaster and stations to Glasgow.
